A few weeks ago, Matthew Golden stood in the middle of the Green Bay Packers’ luxe refurbished locker room and sighed. The rookie wide receiver was frustrated.

Listed as a full participant on a loaded Packers injury report, which has Watson upgraded to "limited," Golden is poised to take on a larger role this Saturday. He's also been on social media for the first time since October, posting a picture of himself in action against the Broncos and a tweet reading "Thank You God."

His injury now in the rear view mirror, and coming off an impressive outing in Denver, Packers WR Matthew Golden could get more opportunities moving forward.

The Week 16 matchup for Matthew Golden and the Green Bay Packers has them going head to head against the Chicago Bears at 8:20 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 20. Golden makes an appearance on the injury list this week (full participation in practice, wrist). He does not have a game status listed right now.
