Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer has been hit with a fine after his team was found guilty of maintaining a slow over-rate during their four-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk.

Shreyas Iyer struck his fourth fifty of the season, making 72 off 41 balls with five fours and four sixes as PBKS knocked CSK out of IPL play-offs race with the win

As this was his team’s first offence of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to minimum over-rate offences, Iyer was fined INR 12 Lakh.
