No Powerball players won any million-dollar prizes from Monday's drawing, according to Powerball's website. Powerball players have a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of winning the jackpot prize, according to Connecticut Lottery.

Two people fell short of hitting the $344 million Powerball jackpot by just one number, but they still won big prizes. A player in Virginia and a player in Minnesota matched five winning numbers, but not the Powerball, in the Oct. 25 drawing, according to the Powerball website.

In November 2022, Edwin Castro of Altadena, California, became the largest lottery winner in US history for his record $2.04 billion Powerball win.
