Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk, who has gotten hot, is one win away from a repeat, but had injury questions before the playoffs.

Following their 5-2 win Saturday in Game 5 of a Stanley Cup Final rematch against the Oilers, the Panthers have a 3-2 series lead. Florida can clinch its second straight title as early as Tuesday, when it plays Game 6 on home ice at Amerant Bank Arena.

The NHL commemorated a rare postseason milestone on Saturday as the Florida Panthers went on to beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. Sam Bennett scored the Panthers’ second goal of the day in the first period of Florida’s win, one that moved the Panthers to within one win of back-to-back championships.
