The Weather Authority continues its coverage of Hurricane Helene, a once powerful Category 4 storm that hit the northern part of Florida.

As Hurricane Helene — now a Category 4 storm — moves toward Florida's Big Bend, the Treasure Coast is still feeling some light winds, with stronger gusts and isolated rainfall Thursday evening. The Treasure Coast saw tornado watches lifted for Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties at 8 p.m. by the National Weather Service in Melbourne.

The National Hurricane Center Tuesday evening issued a tropical storm warning for the Treasure Coast, including Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.
