With straightaway speeds rivaling IndyCars, the ZR1 wiped out lap records set by the Porsche GT3 RS and McLaren Senna.

Chevrolet is out for blood with the 2025 Corvette ZR1, and on Tuesday, the automaker announced that the 1064-hp affordable hypercar has set a slew of new production car lap records at some of America’s most famous racetracks.

Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Virginia International Raceway have all fallen to the C8 ZR1's speed. At the latter, both the 3.270-mile Full Course and the 4.2-mile Grand East Course had their records broken by the ZR1.
