A Maryland lottery player took home a top prize from a scratch-off ticket — his second in under two months. As the Greenbelt man scratched his $5 Lots of Cash ticket while he was home with his wife, he noticed he matched a winning number, Maryland Lottery officials said in a Feb. 18 news release. That match came with a top prize of $50,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Vista Donuts on Washington Street in Attleboro.

A New Jersey lottery player could not trust their eyes when they recently won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket.
