Mets' Tylor Megill goes on the IL with elbow injury
Mets righthander Tylor Megill has been placed on the 15-day injured list with a right elbow sprain, the team announced Tuesday afternoon. The move is retroactive to June 15. Megill is 5-5 with a 3.95 ERA in 14 starts this season. He struck out 89 in 68 1/3 innings. The Mets recalled righthander Justin Garza to fill Megill's spot.
