Dansville, N.Y. (WHAM) — After more than two years of captivity in Afghanistan, Ryan Corbett was welcomed home by an overjoyed Dansville community.

Ryan Corbett, the Dansville father of three who the Taliban held captive in Afghanistan for two and a half years, is expected to complete his journey back to the area soon.

The family was evacuated in 2021 but Corbett returned for a work trip in 2022, which is when he was detained. Corbett's father contacted Kentucky Congressman Morgan McGarvey last year to ask for help.
