LSU fired coach Brian Kelly during the fourth season of a 10-year contract worth about $100 million, athletic director Scott Woodward announced Sunday night.

Indeed, Kelly is out at LSU, and he had to be out.

Kelly’s buyout if fired without cause is more than $52 million.
