Bayern Munich are continuing their pursuit of Liverpool winger Luis Diaz and are confident of landing the Colombia star, despite seeing a first offer of £58million rejected

Liverpool could be ready to talk with Bayern Munich after all about a transfer of forward Luis Diaz, Germany's Bild paper said on Friday. Liverpool have named the Colombian an important part of their team but Bild said they could change their mind and talks could start "soon" if they manage to sign Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Diaz, who scored 13 goals in Liverpool’s title triumph last season, has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer. Barcelona were credited with an interest in the former Porto man, and may yet return for Diaz having failed in their push to land Nico Williams from Athletic Club.
