An intense public feud erupted on Thursday between President Donald Trump and his one-time ally, billionaire Elon Musk, with an argument about Trump’s massive tax and domestic policy bill raging across social media and in the Oval Office.

Elon Musk has been using President Donald Trump 's past criticisms of raising the debt ceiling against him as he continues to attack the "big, beautiful bill." The former Trump ally shared several posts on X from the president, dating back more than a decade.

Trump and Elon went at it over a Republican spending bill and the Pennsylvania election in a wild back-and-forth signaling the end of their political alliance.
