At least 28 people have died after a barrage of Russian drones and missiles struck several districts of Kyiv on Thursday morning. Three children, aged three, six, and 17, were among the dead, Ukraine's interior ministry said. Some 159 others were wounded in the attack, officials said, and an apartment block collapsed.

Russia launched waves of missiles and drones on Kyiv before dawn on Thursday, killing 16 and wounding well over 100 people, officials in the Ukrainian capital said.
