Nine players were hospitalized with a rare and serious muscle condition known as rhabdomyolysis after training with a Navy SEAL graduate.

The players became ill following a workout that was led by a Tufts alum who is a recent graduate of the BUD/S Navy SEAL training program.

Three members of the Tufts University men’s lacrosse team remained hospitalized Monday with rhabdomyolysis, and team practices remained postponed, one week after multiple players got sick, officials said.
