Social media reacts to Nebraska's loss to USC & Dylan Raiola's injury
Nebraska entered a cold Saturday night blackout game against USC. Despite a strong first half, the Trojans walked out with the win after a key injury.
Nebraska star quarterback Dylan Raiola exited in the third quarter of Saturday's game against USC and did not return on his team's next offensive possession. Raiola appeared to suffer an ankle injury on the play where he was sacked -- which led to a fumble recovery by USC.
No. 23 USC visits Memorial Stadium on Saturday, desperate to extend its run of four consecutive wins over Nebraska, which hasn’t won this matchup in more than 50 years. Neither USC head coach Lincoln Riley nor Nebraska counterpart Matt Rhule was even born the last (and only) time the Cornhuskers got a win over the Trojans to date.

Nebraska QB Raiola leaves with ankle injury against No. 23 USC, status unclear for game at UCLA
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola suffered an apparent leg injury during the third quarter against No. 23 Southern California.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Matt Rhule were this close to getting into the AP Poll’s good graces (Top 25) until Dylan Raiola got clipped on a drop-back pass play. That play knocked Dylan Raiola out of the game and put No.
The Trojans' strengths turned to weaknesses and the weaknesses turned to strengths. How are we supposed to feel about this after the Nebraska win?
