LINCOLN — For almost a year, Nebraska’s 2025 recruiting class sat empty. That changed Sunday when Phoenix Hillcrest Prep small forward Quentin Rhymes committed to NU after his weekend visit.

A 6-foot-7 four-star prospect according to 247 Sports, Rhymes began his high school career at Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and plays AAU ball for the Las Vegas Knicks. In the weeks ahead of his weekend at NU, Rhymes visited New Mexico and Boise State. He also had offers from Wichita State and TCU.
