Sean “Diddy” Combs was denied bail on Friday after the jury in his federal sex trafficking trial returned its verdict, convicting him on two lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution but clearing the hip-hop mogul of the most serious charges.

ABC News approached 12 New Yorkers -- including in Combs' hometown of Mount Vernon in Westchester County -- to ask if they thought they could be impartial jurors.

After Combs' sentencing, his lawyers may file an appeal of both his conviction and his sentence. To succeed on appeal, the defense faces the high burden of convincing the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that Subramanian made legal errors that impacted the jury's verdict.
