Technical analyst Kunal Bothra has initiated a BUY coverage on Anil Agarwal-owned Vedanta Limited shares. The company is set to announce its fourth interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 on October 8.

Mining major Vedanta Ltd on Wednesday said its board will meet on October 8 to consider and approve the fourth interim dividend for 2024-25.

The board of Vedanta Ltd. will consider a fourth interim dividend for the current financial year in a meeting on Oct. 8. The record date to determine the eligible shareholders for the dividend, if declared, is fixed as Oct. 16, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday.

Shares of Vedanta dipped into the red after opening higher on Thursday as the firm considers a fourth interim dividend for the year. What Happened: Mining giant Vedanta said that its board of directors would meet on October 8 to consider the approval of the fourth interim dividend for FY25.

Vedanta declared a third interim dividend of Rs 20 per share for FY25, following two earlier interim dividends announced this year—Rs 11 per share and Rs 4 per share, respectively.
