This very cool walking stick came in to get a leather wrap on. I proceed by wrapping the stick with paper then masking taping it onto the spot where I want the wrap on. This will give me a pattern to cut out of leather in the shape needed so it fits s if and the stitch line contours with all of the sticks irregularities. I then cut the pattern our of leather, dye and punch an equal number of holes on either side. Stir J it using a cross and double bar stitch to butt the leather together tightly.
