Built in 1718, this house offers a glimpse into the lives of French Protestants who sought refuge in Spitalfields for the late 17th century onwards, escaping religious persecution. Saved from ruin in the 1980s by Peter Lerwill, who lovingly restored it, the building almost entirely retains its original floor plan and features.
